The majority of our probate hearings are held remotely (a virtual hearing), using video and/or telephone conferencing software. A virtual hearing is a formal proceeding conducted by a Tribal Probate Judge with the assistance of the assigned Courtroom Administrator. The usual procedures, courtroom decorum, and formalities that are required for in-person hearings are also required during virtual hearings. All parties are required to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner.
